L&T Wins Major Offshore EPCIC Contract in Middle East

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) has been awarded a major contract valued at over ₹150 billion ($1.57 billion) for a large-scale offshore development in the Middle East.

The scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) of several offshore facilities. L&T confirmed that much of the fabrication work will take place at its own integrated manufacturing and fabrication yards.

Although the company did not disclose the client, location, or project name, it characterized the contract as one of the largest offshore developments currently being executed in the Middle East.

“This project, with its numerous offshore installations, subsea infrastructure, and extensive fabrication needs, highlights the scale and complexity of developments that LTEH Offshore is equipped to handle,” said Parthasarathi Chatterjee, Senior Vice President and Head of LTEH Offshore.

LTEH Offshore delivers integrated engineering, fabrication, and marine installation services utilizing its own fleet. Its project history includes fixed platforms, subsea pipelines, brownfield modifications, deepwater installations, and decommissioning services.

L&T categorizes contracts worth more than ₹150 billion as “ultra-mega” projects.
