L&T Secures Major Offshore Infrastructure Contracts from ONGC

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) has been awarded several engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) contracts by India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for offshore developments on the country’s west coast.
Under these contracts, LTEH Offshore will manage ONGC’s Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP-X), which involves the EPCIC of various subsea pipeline segments and related modification works. Additionally, the company will deliver four new wellhead platforms for a separate offshore development project. These initiatives are part of ONGC’s strategy to sustain and grow its offshore production infrastructure in the region.
Parthasarathi Chatterjee, senior vice president and head of LTEH Offshore, stated that the contracts reflect client trust in L&T’s integrated EPCIC capabilities, safety standards, and project execution experience, adding that the company remains committed to supporting ONGC’s offshore goals and India’s energy sector.
With over 40 years of experience, L&T’s offshore division specializes in shallow and deepwater projects globally, including fixed platforms, subsea pipelines, brownfield modifications, and decommissioning.
