**HOUSTON** – Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) has announced that Uriel “Ose” Oseguera has been elected as the company’s new Treasurer, effective November 1, 2026. Oseguera will succeed Navin Mahajan, who is retiring after a distinguished career spanning nearly 30 years with the company.
In his new role, Oseguera will oversee Chevron’s global treasury organization, managing capital markets, corporate finance, insurance, credit, and risk management operations. He will report directly to Chevron’s Chief Financial Officer, Eimear Bonner. Oseguera currently holds the position of Vice President, Upstream Business Performance & Finance.
“Ose brings an exceptional combination of treasury expertise, global business leadership, and deep company knowledge to the Treasurer role,” said Bonner. “His experience across corporate finance, capital markets, and international business leadership provides a distinctive perspective on risk management, financial discipline, and value creation. Coupled with strong relationships across the enterprise and sound judgment, Ose is exceptionally well positioned to advance Chevron’s strong financial position and long-term value.”
Oseguera’s career with Chevron began in 1990. Over the past three decades, he has held numerous financial, treasury, and planning leadership roles across international markets, including Venezuela, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, and the United States. Before stepping into his current vice president role, he served as the General Manager of Chevron’s Financial Shared Services organization. Oseguera holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Navin Mahajan, who has served as Chevron’s Treasurer since 2019, will retire following a successful career marked by leadership roles across treasury, finance, compliance, and international business units.
“Throughout his nearly 30 years with Chevron, Navin has been a trusted leader whose expertise, integrity, and commitment have strengthened our company and Finance organization,” Bonner added. “You could always count on Navin when the challenges were most complex and the stakes were highest. His rare combination of innovation, discipline, and thoughtful decision-making enabled him to navigate complexity, inspire teams and deliver lasting impact.”
