**Horizon Petroleum Focuses on Poland’s Lachowice Project to Bolster European Energy Security**
Canadian energy firm Horizon Petroleum (TSX.V: HPL; FSE: HPM.F) is actively advancing its European natural gas strategy, anchored by the Lachowice development in southern Poland. Located within the Bielsko-Biala Concession, the project aims to transition previously discovered natural gas resources into active production. This initiative serves as the cornerstone of Horizon’s long-term growth plan to acquire significant reserves in established, high-demand European basins with direct access to existing pipeline infrastructure.
During the 2026 EnerCom Denver – The Energy Investment Conference®, Horizon Petroleum CEO Dr. David Winter participated in an executive interview to detail the development plans for Lachowice, the potential of domestic Polish gas production, and the company’s broader vision of enhancing regional energy security.
Following the conference, Horizon successfully completed a workover of the Lachowice 7 well and has moved the project into the production testing phase, marking a critical milestone in the appraisal of the gas discovery.
