**BP Taps Halliburton for Deepwater Appraisal Campaign in Brazil**
Energy giant bp has selected Halliburton to provide integrated drilling services for the initial appraisal campaign at the Bumerangue field, located in the deep waters offshore Brazil.
Under the agreement, Halliburton will deliver a comprehensive suite of drilling and reservoir evaluation services. The integrated contract is designed to streamline operations and maximize efficiency by combining well planning, drilling, and formation evaluation under a unified execution model.
To optimize performance, Halliburton will utilize its LOGIX automation and remote operations platform throughout the drilling campaign. The resulting data will help bp better understand the subsurface characteristics of the Bumerangue discovery and guide future development strategies.
“This award reflects Halliburton’s ability to execute complex deepwater projects through a combination of digital solutions, integrated service delivery, and local expertise,” said Francisco Tarazona, Halliburton’s senior vice president for Latin America.
