Subsea integrity software provider Elementz and digital twin specialist FutureOn have entered a co-creation agreement to merge subsea inspection and integrity data into the FieldTwin Operate digital twin platform.
This integration will enable offshore engineers to access critical integrity data directly within a digital twin of subsea assets. The combined solution will bring together engineering models, GIS data, documentation, and inspection records with Elementz’s integrity management systems.
Elementz delivers inspection workflows, anomaly tracking, compliance management, and analysis to optimize how subsea assets are inspected, maintained, and prioritized. Linking these tools with FieldTwin Operate aims to streamline operations by eliminating the need for engineers to toggle between separate software systems during inspection and maintenance planning.
The first phase of development will integrate anomaly, scheduled inspection, and work-order data for subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines (SURF), with pipeline integrity data scheduled for integration in a subsequent phase.
FutureOn CEO Stig Wølstad-Knudsen noted that combining Elementz’s capabilities with FieldTwin Operate allows engineers to identify both the location and the impact of an issue, providing greater confidence during operational and maintenance planning.
This partnership expands on an active collaboration between the two companies for an operator in the North Sea. Elementz confirmed that its platform will continue to support other digital twin environments alongside this new FieldTwin integration.
