Expro Expands Offshore MPD Capabilities with Enhanced Drilling Acquisition

Expro has finalized its acquisition of Enhanced Drilling, integrating managed pressure drilling (MPD) and riserless mud recovery (RMR) technologies into its offshore well construction offerings.
The transaction bolsters Expro’s capabilities throughout the well lifecycle, enabling the company to assist with complex offshore projects by optimizing wellbore pressure management, boosting drilling efficiency, and minimizing nonproductive time.
Enhanced Drilling’s proprietary MPD and RMR systems have been utilized in major offshore regions, including the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, the Caspian Sea, and the Asia-Pacific region. These technologies are engineered to refine pressure control in difficult environments, streamline well designs, and elevate overall construction performance.
By combining these systems with its global network, Expro intends to assist operators in navigating complex offshore drilling hurdles while enhancing operational integrity, project execution, and sustained production performance.
Integration of the two companies is currently in progress, with Expro confirming that service for existing clients will continue uninterrupted during the transition.
