Energy Capital & Power (ECP) has extended and broadened its strategic alliance with the EnerGeo Alliance for 2027. This collaboration aims to link international energy geoscience and exploration professionals with investment prospects in both emerging and established markets throughout Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean.
Continuing the momentum from their 2025/2026 joint efforts, the EnerGeo Alliance will be involved across ECP’s 2027 schedule of oil, gas, and energy investment events. These cover key destinations including Angola, France, Libya, South Sudan, the Republic of Congo, Venezuela, the Caribbean, and the MSGBC basin. The initiative is designed to foster deeper engagement among governments, operators, geoscience firms, service providers, and investors as these territories target fresh capital for exploration, production, and infrastructure.
“EnerGeo’s members are essential to identifying the energy opportunities that will help meet growing demand and support economic development across emerging and established regions. Through this renewed partnership with ECP, EnerGeo Alliance is bringing the voice of our industry into the discussions that shape how new opportunities are understood, advanced, and developed,” states Nikki Martin, President and CEO of EnerGeo Alliance.
“Across our 2027 markets, governments are opening acreage, operators are advancing new drilling campaigns and investors are looking for the next generation of energy opportunities. Bringing EnerGeo Alliance and its members into these conversations connects world-class technical expertise with markets where new data, technology and investment can directly translate into discoveries, projects and production,” states James Chester, CEO of ECP.
Representing the international energy geoscience and exploration sector, the EnerGeo Alliance promotes responsible energy growth grounded in science-based policies. Operating across more than 50 nations, the association pushes for the necessary access to acreage and subsurface data required to find and deploy vital energy resources, while offering global advocacy and regulatory leadership for the industry.
This reinforced alliance aligns with ECP’s growing schedule of investment gatherings for 2027. Throughout Africa, ECP organizes major industry conventions such as Angola Oil & Gas, the Libya Energy & Economic Summit, South Sudan Oil & Power, MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power, and the Congo Energy & Investment Forum. On an international scale, ECP’s lineup features events like the Invest in African Energy Forum in Paris, Caribbean Energy Week, and Venezuela Energy Week, alongside targeted licensing roadshows and investor assemblies in London, Houston, and Paris.
By joining forces once again, ECP and the EnerGeo Alliance will ensure subsurface insight, innovation, and geoscience remain central to global investment dialogues—bridging technical capability with the funding, frameworks, and strategic alliances needed to launch future energy developments.
