Many years ago, one of my protégés asked me a very direct question: "What is the most commonly needed attribute for success?" My instinct led me to Brian Tracy's book, No Excuses: The Power of Self-Discipline... Read more

In this material, Brian Tracy connects all aspects of life—including personal, business, and the good life—with one attribute: self-discipline.

Self-discipline is likened to the general studies course required for a bachelor's degree at almost every university. A lack of self-discipline will make you a dropout in any school of success.

Tracy defined self-discipline as "Doing what you should do, when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not".

This refers to the ability to positively regulate your behaviour and actions and maintain self-control at all times.

Many people are inspired to quickly catch a vision and start a programme, but they lose momentum when life's inevitable challenges arise.

Friends, that business assignment, target, and vision require discipline and execution.

Discipline is the connecting bridge between goals and accomplishments.

You must be willing to stay the course, even when your initial motivation is gone.

Start cultivating self-discipline in every area of life, and your success is sure.

WE ARE WINNING.
