**ADNOC Addresses Ongoing Vessel Attacks in the Strait of Hormuz**
The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has issued an official statement addressing the operational challenges and safety risks posed by recent maritime attacks amid ongoing disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Despite the volatile security situation, the state-owned energy giant emphasized its commitment to fulfilling customer demands while navigating what it described as an “exceptionally challenging environment.”
According to the statement, ADNOC’s operations and personnel have faced severe disruption from unprovoked hostile actions. Since the onset of the regional conflict, 15 of the company’s vessels have been targeted by missile and drone strikes while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. This includes three separate attacks in the past week alone. The strikes have resulted in 20 injuries and one fatality among crew members.
In response to the escalating threats, ADNOC is working in tandem with relevant maritime and security authorities to safeguard its personnel, fleet, and infrastructure. The company reiterated its focus on maintaining supply continuity for its global customers while calling for international action to protect commercial shipping.
“Freedom of navigation and the safe, uninterrupted passage of commercial shipping through international waterways must be respected and protected without threat, harassment or attack,” the company stated.
