ADNOC issued a statement on Friday addressing the ongoing disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz and the impact of recent attacks on its operations and personnel.
The company emphasized its commitment to meeting customer needs despite facing an exceptionally challenging environment and sustaining significant impacts from unprovoked attacks.
Since the onset of the conflict, 15 ADNOC vessels have been targeted by missiles and drones in the Strait of Hormuz, including three incidents this week. These attacks have resulted in one fatality and 20 crew member injuries.
ADNOC is working closely with relevant authorities to implement all necessary protective measures for its staff, assets, and operations while striving to fulfill customer requirements. The company called for the protection of freedom of navigation and the safe, uninterrupted passage of commercial shipping through international waterways.
