DOF Group has secured a subsea contract in Africa valued between $15 million and $25 million, a tier the company considers “significant.” The client was identified as a major operator, though its name was not disclosed.
The agreement tasks DOF with delivering project management, engineering, logistics, and offshore execution to transport and install subsea production systems (SPS) for deepwater developments. The offshore campaign will utilize the construction support vessel Skandi Acergy and is set to begin early in the first quarter of 2027, lasting roughly 100 days.
Planning, engineering, and project management responsibilities will be managed by DOF’s Atlantic region offices in Aberdeen and Bergen. The offshore operations will be conducted in a single dedicated campaign aligned with the client’s field development timeline.
“Deepwater SPS installation is a critical phase in the development of any field and requires careful planning, strong engineering and proven execution capability,” stated Mons S. Aase, CEO of DOF Group. The contract expands DOF’s backlog for 2027 and bolsters its presence within the African subsea sector.
