**Midwestern 2022 JV Secondary School / University Scholarship Award Scheme**

Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited, in partnership with its Joint Venture (JV) partner, SunTrust Oil Company Limited, invites applications from eligible Nigerian students for its 2022 JV Secondary School and University Scholarship Award Scheme.

### **1. Secondary School Scholarship Scheme**

This category aims to support academic excellence and ease the financial burden on families within the host and field communities.

#### **Eligibility Criteria:**
* Must be an indigene of a Midwestern host or field community (Umusadege, Kwale, or host communities in Delta State).
* Open to students currently enrolled in Junior Secondary School (JSS 1 to JSS 3) or Senior Secondary School (SSS 1 to SSS 2) in a government-recognized secondary school in Nigeria.
* Candidates must present proof of academic performance (e.g., previous term report cards showing good academic standing).

### **2. University Scholarship Scheme**

This award is designed to support high-achieving undergraduate students currently studying at accredited public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

#### **Eligibility Criteria:**
* Open to 100 and 200 Level undergraduate students enrolled in accredited Nigerian Federal or State Universities.
* Must have secured admission into the university for the current academic session.
* Minimum academic performance: A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) equivalent to a Second Class Upper division or its equivalent.
* Candidates must not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship scheme (corporate, government, or private).

### **Required Documents**

Applicants for both categories are required to submit clear scanned copies of the following documents:

* Passport photograph (recent with white background)
* Certificate of Origin / Letter of Identification signed by the Community Development Committee (CDC) chairman or traditional ruler (for Host/Field Community applicants)
* Birth Certificate or official Declaration of Age
* School Admission Letter (Secondary or University)
* Official school ID card
* JAMB Result Slip and Admission Letter (for University applicants)
* O’Level Result(s) (for University applicants)
* Most recent academic transcript or term result signed by the school authority
